Last week, Airmen from the 127th Wing departed Selfridge Air National Guard Base on a regularly scheduled deployment to the Middle East. The deployment is comprised largely of the 127th Wing’s Mission Generation Force Element (MGFE)
of the new USAF Force Generation model. The MGFE brings in aircraft, pilots, maintainers, and weapons support to provide combat capabilities to deployed locations. More
