The KC-10 Extender is an Air Mobility Command advanced tanker and cargo aircraft that has provided increased global mobility for U.S. armed forces since 1981. Primarily used as an aerial refueling aircraft, the KC-10’s six tanks have a capacity to carry more than 365,000 pounds of fuel.
