Maxwell AFB was activated as an Incident Support Base for FEMA and Defense Logistics Agency personnel and equipment Aug. 29, 2019. More than 500 trucks containing food, water and other necessary supplies have been staged at Maxwell AFB, for use in recovery efforts after Hurricane Dorian makes landfall. More
