Air Force Special Warfare candidates begin a pool evolution during Assessment and Selection at Chaparral Pool on Joint Base Lackland-San Antonio, Texas, Mar. 15, 2022. One third of graduates from the Special Warfare Training Wing pipelines will feed directly into operational AFSOC units, to include Combat Controllers, Special Reconnaissance Airmen, Special Tactics Officers, and some Pararescuemen.
