Special Warfare Training Wing activates to better train global combat Airmen

Air Force officials will activate the Special Warfare Training wing dedicated to training and mentoring Airmen for global combat operations at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, Texas, Oct. 10, 2018. Building upon what the Battlefield Airmen Training Group has started, the previously established five pillars of marketing and recruiting, manpower and leadership, curriculum, equipment and infrastructure will serve as a starting point for the wing.
