From February to March 2024, active duty and reserve U.S. Air Force medics, including doctors, nurses and technicians, traveled to four countries in South America and the Caribbean to deliver medical assistance to populations in need. The Lesser Antilles Medical Assistance Team (LAMAT) integrated with host nation health ministries and medical counterparts to deliver care to the people of St. Lucia, Suriname, St. Kitts and Nevis and St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
